Company profile

About Hard Hardware

Hard Hardware Pty Ltd is a Brisbane hardware company. We work on the supply chain itself — how hardware is specified, made, shipped and delivered — so the trade gets a better standard of product and a better standard of service.

Hard Hardware was founded in Brisbane in March 2026. We run our own production program: we write the specifications, and every line is built to those specifications and to the quality standard we set. We inspect each consignment before it ships, clear it through the Port of Brisbane, and sell it under our own name with full Australian compliance labelling on every pack.

Owning that chain end to end means we control what goes in the box. Material grade, thickness, finish, pack count and carton quantity — each one is set by us in writing before production starts, then checked twice: once at the factory before the consignment is released, and again on arrival in Brisbane before stock goes out to customers. Where a line does not meet the specification, it does not get sold.

That responsibility does not stop at the dock. If something is wrong — a count, a finish, a size that does not fit the job — you deal with us directly, not with a chain of suppliers pointing at each other. We answer for it and we fix it.

Vision

What the trade
actually deserves

Hardware is the least visible part of a build and the first thing to fail. Our aim is straightforward: lift what the trade can expect from it — on quality, and on the service that comes with it.

We are not here to add another name to the shelf. A line only enters our range if it is better on one of two counts: the product itself, or the service around it. If it is neither, we do not carry it.

Most buyers have been trained to accept what they are handed — counts that come up short, finishes that shift between shipments, and nobody to call when it is wrong. We would rather show customers what they should have been getting all along and let the comparison speak for itself.

The near-term goal is to be a single source for the hardware that goes into a building — broad enough that a builder, cabinet maker or shopfitter can specify once and order once, from people who care what is going into the foundation of somebody's home.

01

Trade first

Builders and resellers are the ones who can weigh what we offer against what they have been buying, side by side. That is where we prove it.

02

Research in the field

We survey at the far end of the supply chain — with the people who open the box and install the product. What they tell us decides what we range next.

03

Retail to follow

Retail comes once the trade knows the difference. Build the reputation where the work happens, and the shelf takes care of itself.

Production

Made to our
specification

Every Hard Hardware product is manufactured to our written specifications — covering material grade, gauge and thickness, finish, and packaging. Our range is produced across dedicated product lines: precision-pressed and machined door and cabinet hardware, cold-formed and heat-treated fasteners, and finished components in matt, antique, stainless, zinc, black and PVD finishes. Before any product line enters a catalogue, it goes through sampling and evaluation against our specification — dimensions, finish consistency, mechanism cycling, and packaging standards — so what you see in the pages is what arrives in the box.

Quality & assurance

A process,
not a promise

Every product line is sample-tested and approved before it is ranged, and incoming stock is inspected against our specification for dimensional accuracy, finish quality, and mechanical function. Non-conforming product does not reach our shelves. Each pack is clearly labelled with full product description, size, drive, finish, and pack count, with batch traceability maintained on every line — so if a question is ever raised about a product, we can trace it, answer it, and make it right. If a Hard Hardware product doesn't perform as described, we stand behind it.
